Grand Opening for 12 new courts

Keep the following dates open on your calendar for the Grand Opening of our new courts.  Grand Opening of our courts for Robson Ranch homeowners tentatively set for Sunday, January 29th.  Public Grand Opening awaiting HOA approval tentatively set for Saturday, Feb. 18th.

“B/C Mixed Play” group filled the courts and then some this morning with 19 players.

The Women’s B/C group plays every Friday at noon; after the game (for those interested) we gather at the grill for lunch and more fun. 

Robson Ranch Pickleball Clubs Helps the RR RC Flyers

Robson Ranch Pickleball Club members help out at the Robson Ranch RC Flyers 2nd Annual Air Show and Swap Meet.  Our members helped make signs, direct traffic and parking, sold raffle tickets, and had donation cans for their hot dog lunch combination.  The early morning workers had on their winter coats, but by 11 AM the outer layers were removed.  It was a beautiful day and a profit was made all while watching some incredible flying.

Support Your Club-Have Lunch and Enjoy a Great Air Show

Don't forget to come out to the Robson Ranch RC Flyer's Air Show and Swap Meet this Saturday, December 10th, to support your club.  Donate $5 and receive a hot dog, bag of chips, a soda, and a raffle ticket.  Donate $10 and receive the meal and 3 raffle tickets.  All donations made at the pickleball club table will go directly to the pickleball club.

More Medal Winners

At the State Games of Oregon Tournament held in July of this year, Jeff Jones won a Gold medal in the Mens 50 Open Doubles Drop Flight B with Mike Rains.  They also won a Silver in the Men's 50 Doubles Drop Flight.  Mike also won two Bronze medals in Men's Singles and Men's Open Singles Drop Flight.

Robson's winners in the 5th Annual Voyager Holiday Skill Level Tournament

The 5th Annual Voyager Holiday Skill Level Tournament was held in Tucson, AZ December 1st - 3rd

Al Hager won a Silver medal in Men's Doubles 5.0 and a Gold in Mixed Doubles 5.0

Pictured below is Mike Rains with his partner Donna Robbins who won the Silver medal in Mixed Doubles 4.5.

Venture Out and Win!

Mike Rains ventured out and won a  Bronze in Men's Doubles Skill Level 4.5 and a Silver in Men's Doubles Skill Level 4.5 /5.0 in the East Valley Tournament At Venture Out.  He is now playing at the Annual Voyager Holiday Skill Level Tournament.  Awaiting the outcome.

Summer Medal Winners from our Club

Larry putting it over the net in the Royal Oaks (MIchigan) Summer Skill Level Tournament where he earned a Bronze in Men's Doubles Skill Level 4.5 to 5.0.  Larry also won a Silver in the Auburn Hills, Michigan tournament for his age group in Men's Doubles while his wife Nancy won a Gold in Women's Doubles in her age group.  Nancy also took a Silver in Women's Doubles at the Western Wayne County Senior Summer Olympics.  Good Job!
