The Robson Ranch 3^rd Annual Pickleball Tournament has come to a close.  This year’s tournament was bigger and better than the previous two and is expected to continue its growth.  Some of this growth should be fueled by the continued growth and interest in pickleball at the ranch.  Growth may also be enhanced as more players at the national level see the quality of our tournaments and facilities when the national tournament is held at Robson Ranch in November 2015.   There was a total of 442 players registered to play this year with 413 participating.  The number of matches played was a staggering 485.  The total number of pickleballs allocated for the tournament was 207.

Tournament Director Al Hager and Registrar Sandi Feller performed admirably in preparing for and conducting this tournament.  Al and Sandi were assisted by a number of volunteers from Robson's pickleball club.  (See these persons and their functions later in this post.)  We would also like acknowledge Robson's Tennis Club, who allowed us to use their courts during this tournament.  Thanks to the restaurant staff for the early morning coffee and the food services provided.  Finally to all those who volunteered to referee matches or serve as line judges for the medal rounds, thank you so much as the tournament and matches could not have been held without your assistance.

In addition to the Robson volunteers, the club would like to acknowledge and thank those volunteers from other communities who assisted with refereeing matches.  We would also like to acknowledge the vendors who attended our tournament.  Without all of the volunteers and their assistance, this tournament would not have been nearly as successful as it has been.  Identified below are the persons who assisted with the tournament with pictures of those able to attend the after party.
